Rotana is a traditional sweet of Garhwal of Uttarakhand. It is made from a mixture of wheat flour, ghee and coconut. It is tasty and nutritious to eat. It is crispy outside and soft inside. These rotanas are also known as rotane, rot (kalyo) or hill biscuits, which are full of flavor made in Garhwal’s house. It is specially made especially on weddings and festivals.
